Malacañang: Inihahanda na ang Dagdag Sahod ng mga Guro

Malacañang is already preparing the salary increase for teachers this year. This is according to Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo after being asked about the alleged surveillance by the Philippine National Police (PNP) to some members of Alliance of Concerned Teachers (ACT).
“This President is sensitive to their needs. In fact, he wants to increase their salaries. And if understand from Budget Secretary Benjamin Diokno, a few months from now there will be a new salary hike for them,” said by Panelo.

  2. We hope that the president's promised to us realized this year because the SSL increase will not cover our daily expenses anymore considering high prices of commodities including supplies for our teaching materials. Also the Deped is forcing us to develop E-Classroom that will come from our salary because the govt has jo budget of these improvements.

  5. Please stop spreading fake news.. You are slowly destroying the morale and spirit of filipino teachers. This is deception, you are adding up false hope to them. Infact, the one you posted is merely an opinion. If you want to help, cite achievements of deped instead. In that way, you are boosting them.

    1. I thought everyone was blindly biting the fake news, until I saw your post. It's saddening that teachers themselves fabricate and consume this kind of false faith.

  8. It’s ok for teachers to have a salary increase but it should be a fair one. If you’re thinking to have a basic salary of 40k for entry level Baka magsara ang mga private schools. Domino effect yan if that happens yung mga LPT na nagwowork sa bpo industry eh lumipat. Yun nga lang sa isang BPO Company meron kang healthcard and 2 free qualified dependents, quarterly variable pay based on your performance or score card, non taxable allowances na di naman kalakihan pero pde na, 8 to 12% night differential kung graveyard shift ka, sure annual 4 to 8% salary increase based on your annual scorecard. I think the Philippine Competition Commission should look into this.
