Duterte asked the teachers to wait for the Salary Increase

The promise of the President will be fulfilled, he only asked for the teachers to wait a little longer for they are finding appropriated funds to cover the said increase.
“For the teachers, just wait a little because we don’t have the budget for that yet. But your salaries will be doubled just like with the police." President Duterte has stated to the public.

Budget Sec. Diokno is now tasked to conduct a study regarding this matter and find ways to materialize it. However, the 4th tranche of the Salary Standardization Law is expected to take effect starting this January 2019 as soon as the national budget is approved.

  6. It depends on your student how they pay for your time. If u wish to increase dn increase there tuition fee beacuse private are not related to public unless if the school is under dep ed.

  10. Only teachers and police?? But how about the nurses who are sacrificing their own lives to save others. This is the main reason why a lot of promising and diligent nurses prefers to work abroad than stay and serve our countrymen. Such quality nurses are being taken for granted and are poorly compensated. I hope the government realizes this too and find an immediate solution. Otherwise, our country will soon lose all of the good nurses we have. Just imagine a health facility without nurses. How's that????

    1. The same thing with the good teachers who resigned and decided to work abroad since teachers here are not well compensated..that is your choosen field..you take care of the lives of your patients, and so are we teachers.. we have to handle 300-400 students everyday and use our vacant time making our dll/lesson plan and IMs that we can use the next day..try making 3 preps in a day-if making 3 lesson plans for 3 diff year levels doesn't make you crazy. Add the undisciplined students and bully school heads that we have to handle everyday..do not compare because our job is not easy as you all nurses thought it is..my brother is a doctor and have cousins who are also in the medical field (doctors/nurses), who can attest that the tiring/tough job you all portray isn't true all the time..so again, never compare..
