Step Increment of Teachers, ANNUALLY not every 3 years



Sec. 16. Salary Scale. Salary scales of teachers shall provide for a gradual progression from a minimum to a maximum salary by means of regular increments, granted automatically after three years: Provided, That the efficiency rating of the teacher concerned is at least satisfactory. The progression from the minimum to the maximum of the salary scale shall not extend over a period of ten years. - R.A. 4670 (The Magna Carta for Public School Teachers)




Here is the table that shows the existing implementation of step increment every 3 years and the table of annual step increment that should be implemented according to Sec. 16 of R.A 4670 (The Magna Carta for Public School Teachers)

To whom can we verify this .. if this is true how exciting it would be for the teachers to anticipate an increase every year much more to be receiving the maximum salary we deserve to have in our level after 10 yrs. I hope that in our time, this will be implemented, woe to those teachers who have retired following the every 3 yrs increment scheme..

  4. Deped is aware of what is happening.. Then why not being corrected over the years..repeating the same mistakes over and over again

  5. Why they let this mistakes happen.do we need to process our papers for us to avail or we have to wait until it will be implemented.
