Teacher wants to commit Suicide due to his 1.96 RPMS rating



One public school teacher has posted on social media his intense emotion on his experience in accomplishing his RPMS requirements. And the worst part was when got a rating of 1.96 (unsatisfactory) which he explained was clearly not his fault. Here is his statement:

Dear RPMS Author:

Sana mapansin mo ang chat na ito. Super unfair kasi.i receive the lowest rating ever on my 5 years of teaching because of your guidelines that the base of rating must be the COT. Maintindihan ko po un, maliwanag un sakin, pero papano if Hindi nga nagawang obserbahan ako ng principal ko dahil laging Wala, sa kanila na sya na ang ng bigay ng skedule for observation pero d pa din sya pumasok. Ngayon heto ako may markang 1.96 dahil ang mga attachment ko lng ay picture and dll referring to the objective of ipr pero Wala ako COT. THATS WHY I receive this rating. So kasalanan ko pa pala dahil Hindi pumasok head ko.

With this mixed emotion I have right now simulation kahapon na napirmahan nya ang rating ko without any objection super depress ako ngaun at Hindi maka move on.


I wanna die sa subrang hiya ko nmn na sa loob pala ng isang buong taon ay Wala ako ginawa sa skul kundi ang maupo.bagamat marami katunayan na ang klase ko ang subrang aktibo dahil sa dami NG performance task na ginagawa. At Kung titingnan ang distansya ng bahay ko sa paaralan ay araw araw ako bumabyahe gamit ang asking motorsiklo makapasok lang ng maaga at makarating ng Hindi late. Isang oras kalahati ko binabaybay ang kalsada at nakikipagpatentiro sa nglalakahihang bus at truck makarating lng at makapag turo sa asking paaralan.

  1. Bago magpakamatay at sisihin si Principal at IPCRF.. Isa rin ang tanong ko sa iyo.. HINDI KA RIN BA GUILTY SA SERBISYO MO SA MGA BATA?

    Sayang pagpapakamatay mo kung mananagot ka rin sa Diyos na hindi ka rin naman pala tunay na naglilingkod sa ating kabataan..

    Hindi mo dapat sisihin si Principal dahil palaging wala. Accountability nya yon.. Meron ka rin accountability na sinumpaan sa mga tao at iyong tungkulin. You are a CIVIL SERVANT.. You must follow DEPED order no. 2 s.2015

    Teaching job is not for the FAINT HEARTED. It's a job focused more on learner's needs.

    The learners must be your priority NOT YOUR PERSONAL REASONS..

    3. Mali ang pag compute ng cot kung ganun. Kung 3 o 2 lang un lang ang icompute. Kung wala kang cot na 4 meron k naman tiyak na mga MOVs na siyang basis ng rating at mag sasatisfy ng hinahanap ng rpms-ipcrf. Kaya nakakapag isip kung paano nkpag come up ng ganyang grado.

  5. Ask directly your head about the rating. Informed her that you been expecting her for her sked on class observation but she cant just rate you as such bec. you were not observed. its not your fault. your students can justify how active you are in class. m

  6. Alam ko hirap nng mga public school teachers dami kong friends at kamag anak n teachers.... Next time pagalitan mo principal mo sya dapat mababa ang rating. Basta alam m s sarili mo n ginawa mo lahat para s trabaho mo. ����

  7. Oo nga naman, sa mga panahong depress 'yung tao, dapat i-comfort natin para hindi na lumala ang kanyang dinaramdam na sama ng loob. Kung minsan kasi, unfair naman ang judgment kaya tuloy marami ang nawawalan ng gana sa trabaho dahil kahit anong pag-e-exert mo ng efforts parang wala pa ring epekto. But we have to do some techniques to prove to them that we deserve more kaysa kung ano lang ang nakikita nila. Ang pagpapakamatay ay hindi option sa anumang problema na ating na-e-experience. Prayer is the best that we can do, asking God's guidance para ma-overcome ang depression o anumang pagsubok.

  8. Dapat naka double check lahat ng documents and reeasons kung bakit mababa. Wala ring consultation na nagaganap dahil lng sa PAGIGING BUSY ng HEAD.
    Paper works pa lang ng teacher kulang pa ang isang araw para magawa.
    Gagawa ng dll.quiz.seatwork kung meron performance task. Nandyan amg lessons sa classroom. Pagdidisiplina ng bata. The worst thing namimili lang ang bata na gagalangin dahil sa takot sila. King tutuusin baliktad na dahil si teacher na natatakot at di na bata. Di nila alm kung gaano kahirap maging guro

    Being a teacher is not easy. Itutulog mo na lng, time mo sa family mo nawawala na. What more pa kaya kung kailangan mong makahinga ng maluwag kung alam mong nagawa mo ang dapt mong gawin.

    Kaya mam please survive in this matter. Magrelax ka lng.

  9. Don't give up sir pagsubok lang yan malalampasan din. Isipin mo nalang na isa tayo sa magbibigay ng magandang future sa ating mga estudyante panu na ang magiging estudyante mo pa na mas magpapatibay at magpapatunay pa kung gaano ka ka didicated, katalino at kahusay kung mag gigive up ka ng ganun2 nalang. Ang rating na yan doesn't define us as teachers ang estudyante mo at ikaw mismo ang magpapatunay na magaling ka. God bless sir Pray lang po tayo tomorrow is another day. God loves you

    1. ito ang pinaka may sense na comment. ka inspire. ako din laging mababa ang rating ko pero di ko na pinapansin. mas importante sa akin na matuto nang husto ang mga bata. after all sila naman ang magpapatunay na magaling ang teachers nila kapag magtapos sila ng pag aaral na may disiplina... yung rating na yan makakalimutan pero mga knowledge at values na itinuro sa mga bata, dadalhin nila yan habang buhay...

  10. Sa mga ganitong pagkakataon, unawa po ang ipakita natin hindi yung nais nanaman nating iparada kung gaano tayo kagagaling. Hindi po natin alam ang buong istorya, huwag po tayong manghusga.

  11. I feel you ma'am. But suicide is not the answer po. Remember guro po tayo. Tinuturo po natin sa mga Bata na dapat sometimes we have to be hard hearted in this harsh world. May mga bagay bagay na di umaayon sa atin. And hindi solusyon ang suicide.
    U can talk to the principal after he signed the rpms with that rating knowing may Mali talaga and u should not be penalized. Masinsinang usapan Lang po Yan. Pag di umobra sa taas kana mag reklamo. What pained us teachers is when our effort is procrastinated by few. But our role is not to impress them but the kids... Just continue what ur doing ma'am soon they will realize that ur an asset. Prayers po na sana malampasan nyo to. Kaya Yan....

  12. Naintindihan ko ang nararamdaman ni teacher. Naiintindihan ko din na nagbibigay ka ng sched dahil minsan wala o madaming ginagawa si head. Pero bilang isang guro, palagi natin tatandaan na ang IPCRF ay papel lamang na hindi masusukat ang ating dedilkasyon sa ating napiling trabaho. Hanggat wala tayong ginagawang mali, hindi ito mapapantayan ng grade sa RPMS. Higit ang pagpapala na nagmumula sa Dios kaysa sa pagpapala na nagmumula sa DepEd. Gawin natin ang ating propesyon para sa ating sarili, pamilya, bata, bayan at sa Dios. Hindi solusyon ang pagpapakamatay dahil may mga batang umaasa sa atin. Sa atin nakasalalay ang ikagaganda ng kanilang buhay at pag-uugali maging ng kanilang prinsipyo. Tama na teacher na naramdaman mo ang sakit. Hindi yun magiging hadlang para maging mabuti kang guro. Dapat maging inatrumento ang pangyayaring ito sa iyong buhay para maging mas mabuti ka pang tao. #kheyan

  13. Commiting suicide is a decision that you will suffer eternally,,, Just pray to God and ask for wisdom on how to deal with your school head.. . You must not worry for it,,, instead settle it with your school head ,,, I don't know the story behind this, but in terms of professionalism , , no worries,,, faced it professionally with humility, ,, you can ask technical assistance to the division office if your school head will not settle it positively ,, , for the school head,,, it is God why we became a school head, ,, remember this, , you are accountable of your teachers in school ,, deal with them professionally with love ,, love that makes them blessed throungh you, ,, treat them as your love ones,, , f they don't love you, keep loving them,, , your teachers are your co-workers,,, you need them and they need you for the progress of the school and students,,, don't abused your position, ,, it will be remove from u,,, it's a blessing from God, , don't let God will remove it from you. ..

  16. Tungod sa sobrang pamaymay sa gabuhat aning RPMS, teachers tend to lose focus. You don't even know how hard for us to deal with millennials every single day. And yet, you are trying to squeeze us to constantly prove ourselves with all these nonsense papers which in fact will end up in a stock room and will soon be burned to ashes of never-ending stress and depression. One thing I have observed, those teachers who passed away due to severe sickness and accidents were not even given such tribute to their efforts and services during teachers' day celebration. We are just taken for granted! Going back, RPMS to me is not a CCTV camera that will record all the things that actually happened in the classroom, record the single voice the inspires the youth, and even the actual efforts of a true educator. In my case, I serve not to impress the people behind all these burdens, but I serve to glorify the true mission of God (ang magtutudlo) because HE is the only one who knew my sacrifices, efforts, and skills which are not given due recognition. Above all, what is real does not brag about something. So my advice to this teacher: Padayon lang mam/sir! because we are working for our family! Just comply, anyway it's the God above who have known you unconditionally, whatever your result is, it will just boomerang from the one who gave it to you! God bless and laban! ��

    To the one responsible for this, focus your attention in motivating your teachers if you want quality education, learn how to trust them and don't make rooms for doubts. Try to reach out for trainings and seminars that will mainly focus on proper time management and stress management but take note, don't compare us with your experiences in the past, focus on this type of generation, where students are highly engaged in the fake world, and school is not their priority. Please make use of seminars where speakers are not just reading their PowerPoint presentation based on the studies made from other countries. Find those speakers who can make an impact to our lives and localize their presentation. May all these things be notified. Who knows? You will have efficient and highly motivated teachers in our time.

  18. Hi ! I-comply mo lang ang requirements sa rpms as early as the beginning of the school year, be aware of it. It is also the time that you begin compiling the KRA means of verification. I am also wondering why your co teachers are you not helping each other?

  19. Hindi natin alam ang kanyang pinagdaan. So don't be harsh nlng sa comment, if walang magandang maisabi wag nlng pong magsalita. Hindi basta2 ang depression. Swerte nlng tayo kasi matibay yung loob natin. To you sender, naaintindihan ko ung concern mo. Daanin lng po sa mahinahon na pakikipagusap sa school head o MTs mo. Cliche as it is, lagi tandaan na lahat nlng problema nasusolusyonan. Inhale-exhale lang po, compose your self and pray. Sa susunod na school year dapat comply ka sa lahat every quarter at be proactive nlng lagi sa mga COTs..God loves you po

    1. question No. 1 Cot lang ba ang kulang at naging 1.96 lang ang iyong score??
      question No. 2 kumusta ang pakikitungo mo sa iyong principal??
      question No. 3 sa isip mo ba ay hindi ka sumasalungat sa iyong principal??
      Sa opinyon ko lang naman, ang school principals ay sadyang mapagmatyag at mapagobserba sa kanyang mga guro, kahit sabi mo palagi siyang wala, ay marunong siyang kumilatis kung ang mga guro ba ay maganda ang pakikitungo o hindi sa kanya. madami pang sitwasyon na mas grabe pa sa nadaanan mo madam, sabi mo 5 years ka pa lang, mayroon pang 55 years. Observe, perform, whether your principal is present or not, it's not your right to scold him/her, hence you have your own task to do. If you don't like your principal, still you are paid for the services you rendered. Don't show arrogance, stupidity and insubordination. Kahit na angat na angat ka sa kanya still he's your school head.

Kapag ang principal hindi naka observe sa guro sa schedule na binigay ng guro dahil may ibang kadahilanan at hindi nag reschedule at walang cot rating yong guro kasalanan ng prinsipal yan.maaring ma charge ng neglegence of duty.lalo na kapag hindi siya naka memo informing the teacher of his/her lacking observations.Mabuti pag usapan nyo muna yan kung bakit ganyan ang rating mo.kasi dyan sana papasok yong technical assistance ng principal para matulungan ka.Pero sa tingin ko may kasalanan din ang principal kung hindi siya nag perform ng duty nya.

  22. Sir mag isip isip ka. Kasalanang mortal ang magpakamatay. Thou shall not kill. Isipin mo na lang na wala dapat maging outstanding na principal kung may teacher na ganyan ang rating sa iyo. Babalik sa kanya yan. Dapat kung siya ang hindi sumipot sa schedule mo dapat equivalent to 4cots yang cot mo. Relax sir. May God be with you

  23. Hindi kasalanan ni Teacher na wala syang COT. Dapat pagwala si Principal si Master Teacher ang mag observe. Eh kung walang MT at si Principal ay nasa training/seminar on the scheduled observation sa teacher dapat pag-usapan nila and meet half way. Kawawa naman si Teacher dapat may tamang TA from the principal. Ako hindi ako ng hihingi ng hindi ko naibibigay sa teacher kasi leader dapat ang principal hindi boss. At isa pa, kakarating lang ni COT, dapat SY 2019-2020 na full blown na saka manghingi ng full COTs. Arrive at a win-win agreement. At para kay teacher, please be assertive but not agressive at huwag matakot kasi pare-pareho tayo ng mga karapatan. Pag-usapan lang yan ng mabuti para maayos ang lahat.
