Sick Leave for 30 Days with Pay for Public School Teachers

Rep. France Castro of ACT Partylist recently filed the House Bill 5349 which seeks to grant 30 days sick leave benefits with pay to all public school teachers per year. This house bill is entitled "An Act Providing Sick Leave Benefits of 30 Days with Pay per Year to all Public School Teachers."

  1. It is right and just for the teachers to have a sick leave. Because you can never tell that the teachers will not be sick during the period of the academic year/school year. Thought teachers were paid during vacations. Hope this will be approved. Kahit hindi na 30 days kahit 15 days lang ok na. And it will be beneficial and will appreciate by the teachers.
